My Whisky journey started in the winter of 2023. My wife visited a friend in Edinburgh and you can probably already guess what she bought for me… At the Duty-Free shop she picked up a Bowmore 10 (Aston Martin) Travel Edition. I explored some Whisky before, but the best I got to explore was a GlenFiddich 12 around my 20’s. Which for me at that time didn’t really spark any joy. So when I first got this bottle, I didn’t know what to expect. Needless to say I didn’t expect going down this rabbithole! Long story short, I liked the Bowmore and started exploring more Whiskies, going to tastings and so on. I’m still on the beginning off this journey and love exploring different styles, maturations and talking with like-minded enthusiasts.
